1. Resists shrinkage due to heat or cold: Exceeded ASTM- 1211-87. No effect on finish after 20 cycles. One cycle consists of one hour at 70 C, two hours at minus 20 C and one half hour at room temperature.
2. Resistant to most chemicals: Panels were exposed to acetone as well as the following household chemicals for a period of 24 hours: vinegar, lemon juice, orange juice, ketchup, coffee, olive oil, 100% alcohol, 1% dish detergent in water and mustard. None of these chemicals had any effect on the panel.
3. Adhesion: Adhesion results were excellent on both Gross Hatch and American Nickel Methods.
4. Scratch Resistance: Using Taber Abrasion Test - no failure after 100 cycles using 4/0 steel wool.
